BBA – Architetti and Development

The team is developed around three research subjects, faced in collaboration with the Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Design of the University of Florence, the Tuscany Region and others Research Institutes.

Exhibit Design (for further information)

In the development of the project, this design area appears particularly experimental for using communicative shapes, materials and media. Specifically, the best representative synthesis of this sector is "Exhibit Design - Architecture as Marketing mean".

From this phrase starts a study which finds its completion in the book “ Exhibit Design - Architettura come strumento di Comunicazion”, Alinea edition, written by Duccio Brunelli with BBA – architetti associati.

............... Architecture and design as vehicle to create communication, able to induce creative suggestions and evocations into the user.

Eco-Design for temporary stands (for further information)

Guidelines of Tuscany Region, they aim at the identification of techniques which make environmentally sustainable the temporary stands.

The research has been developed by the architect Duccio Brunelli for the Corso di Laura Magistrale in Design of the University of Florence, in collaboration with the architect Pietro Novelli (Tuscany Region), Prof. Massimo Ruffilli and Prof. Roberto Bologna as scientific charged staff for the Architecture and Design Technology Department in Florence.

The European Community has identified Eco-Design as vehicle to make people aware of the environmental subject.

Exhibit-Design can turn into the solution to communicate/transmit environment sustainability's values: the way to put into effect all those principles linked with this new design area.

The study has been developed by the architect Duccio Brunelli, between 2003 and 2004, for "Fondazione Centro Studi e Ricerche Professione Architetto" and "Ordine degli Architetti P.P.C." of Florence. It wants to define the digital tool's worth, in architecture, as mean of design and conception, and not just as a mean of virtual representation.
